The family of a minor who suffered life-threatening injuries after getting pushed from the tenth level of London's Tate Modern have announced their "brave warrior" has achieved his goal of being able to run, jump, and swim anew.

The French child was six years old when he was hurled from a balcony by a teenager, then seventeen.

He, who was vacationing with his parents in the summer of 2019 when attacked, survived a 100ft fall but experienced significant wounds, such as a bleed on the brain and fractures.

His family stated in an progress report on a fundraising platform, they were happy that he had been able to progress with his swimming, running and jumping before his forthcoming operation.

"He can't perform similar to other children of his age, certainly, but we cannot portray what he does in any other way than by saying it's running, jumping, and swimming."

"It's distinct, only over a short distance or a minimal elevation, but it's an incredible achievement."

The child, who spent months in critical care, has continued to gain cognitive endurance.

His family said although his recollection capacity were yet very limited, they were operational and progressing, so he was "gaining a common awareness at his speed, which increasingly allows him to be included with other children."

'Objective Met'

Parents noted: "Additionally, he is maturing, and because of his sessions with the physical therapist, he currently allows himself to unwind."

Subsequent to a trial at the central criminal court, the adolescent was convicted of attempted murder and was jailed in the year 2020 for no less than a decade and a half.
