During a engagement to Lichfield Cathedral on Monday, the King was shouted at by a protester who questioned him about Prince Andrew's relationship with disgraced financier Epstein.

The individual asked how long the monarch had been aware about his brother's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, and also raised doubts about whether he had instructed the police to "conceal" for Andrew.

Amid the heckling, there were large groups of well-wishers and cheers for the monarch, who was visiting Staffordshire for an engagement.

The Duke of York's connections with Jeffrey Epstein have been under close examination in recent weeks. The royal, who relinquished his titles earlier this month, has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.

"For how long have you been aware about Andrew and Epstein? Have you asked the police to cover up for him?"

The King ignored the questions but carried on greeting fans, some of whom shouted "Long live the King". One supporter can be heard requesting him for a embrace.

Another woman outside the venue was also heard telling the heckler to "leave" and to "shut up".

Controversy Reignited by Posthumous Publication

The controversy over Prince Andrew's links to Jeffrey Epstein has been revived by misconduct claims detailed in Ms. Giuffre's recently released memoir.

In the publication, Ms Giuffre says she had sexual encounters with the prince on three separate occasions, including once with Jeffrey Epstein and "eight other young girls"

Prince Andrew, who agreed to a financial settlement with the plaintiff in recent years, has consistently denied any misconduct. In a previous interview, he told BBC Newsnight he did not remember meeting Ms Giuffre "at all", and that they "never had any sort of sexual contact."

Fresh Questions About Lifestyle and Living Arrangements

But in recent times, fresh questions have been raised about how he is able to fund his lifestyle despite not being a active member of the royal family.

The revelation that he has only ever paid a token annual rent on his Windsor mansion has heightened the scrutiny over his living arrangements - even though he made large payments up front, including for improvements.

The political party said he should be summoned before MPs to give evidence about his lease of his residence.

But last Thursday, the government refused to give MPs time to discuss the royal's titles or his home, despite growing pressure for investigation.

Buckingham Palace has not commented on whether the Duke of York might relocate of his current residence - or where he might reside.
